Teaching
We learn by teaching
Art and knowledge are better when they are shared. I am so thankful for the brilliant ideas that I have come across, thanks to others who have had them as insights from their own experience, and made the effort of properly explaining them. The international design community is amazingly active. Below are some of my contributions to give value back to it.
Events, Courses and Articles
Comfort in Discomfort
This is a reflection I wrote for my team about the trap of looking to feel comfortable. I provided scientific literature-based behavioral techniques to overcome this obstacle. Read Medium article.
Goodness Boost
Early in the COVID-19 pandemic a lot of us were confused and concerned. We wanted to make things better, beyond official sanitary guidelines. That is why I led a company-wide remote ideation exercise for everybody to share ways to help. More than 70 different ideas came up after merging duplicates. Check out the Medium article!
Biases in Concept and Usability tests
I identified and documented some not-so-known biases that could distort your proofs of concept and usability tests if not taken into account. This article was published as part of the reputable Medium editorial with 420k followers, "UX Collective". Check them out (Medium article).

Quantitative User Research Master Class
As part of our internal UX certification for junior designers, I gave a class about measuring the user experience. Topics included drawing conclusions from numerical information, and communicating them profesionally and with enough specificity.

University Professor
When Monterrey's Institute of Technology and Higher Education, one of the most prestigious universities in the country (México), opened its first UX series of courses, I had the honor of participating for three semesters, providing more than five UX courses. During that time, I led a full team of lecturers and mentors to make this possible. Topics included Fundamentals about UX, Lean UX, and Qualitative and Quantitative User Research.
Wizeline UX Academy
I've given multiple design courses at Wizeline UX Academy, including the following:
From Zero to Hero: Leadership and management reflections for a growing team
Lean UX: Focus on obtaining feedback as early as possible so that it can be used to make quick decisions
Beyond the framework: Mix and match existing techniques to develop your own methodologies according to every scenario
Facilitation: Have the proper attitude, time control and social techniques to guide a group to their best possible use of a workshop
